On the first half of today show the boys jump into their round table. Nick covers some Pride Center wins this past week as well as his impending departure from the bar. Jae talks about facing the reality of aging parents and how responsibilities change. Tom reiterates the joys of being a gay son and the glue that holds the family together. We close out the first half with some commentary on President Biden’s State of the Union address and the shit show that Biden man handled like a champ.

On the second half of the show the boys talk about LGBTQ+ representation in recent media. We begin with a conversation about episode 3 of “The Last of Us” and how it surprised viewers and depicted a beautiful partnership in the most unlikely of circumstances. We end the show covering the Grammys and all the wins and some dedications within the community.

These are stories shared with us by our beloved Mama Kim. Every week Kim sends us stories from a variety of publications that are specifically related to the LGBTQ community and are a great way to stay on top of what’s going on in the community.
