On the first half of todays show Nick and Tom are joined by Jae as as guest host. They jump into a conversation the new CDC guidelines and daylight savings. Tom brings up an emotional story about a father’s speech at his son’s wedding. Nick closes out the first half with a short story about a project involving gay animals that paved the way for GayTalk.
On the second half of the show, the boys don’t stop talking. Jae talks about the a U.S. Poll which notes a 1.1% rise of LGBT Identification since 2017. Tom talks about White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, and the Biden Administration’s stance on Trans rights. Tom also talks about the difference between “openly” and “out”, sparking a conversation about how best we should use the terms. Nick closes out the show with updating everyone on BYU and how the student took a stand for equality and visibility.
