We come back and Jae reminds everyone where they can find support if the are dealing with negative and/or harmful thoughts. Tom then shared a very recent and painful story of the loss of a family member to suicide and why the current political climate and rhetoric continue to exacerbate the suicide crisis in our community. We close out the show honoring Matthew Shepard’s passing, marking 25 years since the tragedy of his loss.
These are stories shared with us by our beloved Mama Kim. Every week Kim sends us stories from a variety of publications that are specifically related to the LGBTQ community and are a great way to stay on top of what’s going on in the community.
