On the first half of todays show Jae’s brother from Kansas showed up out of the blue this weekend. Tom celebrates a family marriage and then cuts down all the trees in his back yard. Nick talks about Hello Fresh! We end the first half with a conversation about 34 indictments and how happy we are it finally happened. 

On the second half nick shares a story U.S. Reaches All-Time High in Out Elected Officials, and our very own Erick Russel, leading us into a conversation about Texas GOP Votes to Halt Gender-Affirming Care for Existing Patients. Tom closes out the show with a Trump-Appointed Judge who Temporarily Blocks Tennessee’s Anti-Drag Law.

Friends of George’s was originally founded in 2010 to produce a reunion for a historic Memphis drag bar known as George’s Disco. The original George’s Disco opened in 1969 on Madison St. in midtown Memphis. It went through various incarnations before finally closing its doors in the late 1980’s
