On today’s episode, Nick is off, and Tom and Jae breakdown the stuff that lives rent free in their heads. For Jee, that was the story of Dorian Corey and her literal skeleton in her closet while Tom is shocked that people actually allow strangers in their homes for 15 minutes of fame. We wrap up the first half talking about the importance of queer ownership and building equity in our queer spaces as the AdvocaTE announces a merger with a MEGA LGBTQ owned and operated publication entity.
After the break, we discuss NETFLIX’s “Dahmer” which has been the subject of much criticism for its content with little to no regard for family members of the victim murdered by Dahmer. We close the show with a story that highlights a historic event 8 years before StoneWall. The “Black Nite Brawl” as it was called seen its patrons rise up at THE BLACK NITE BAR and fight back. This historic event will be memorialized when they received a designation as a HISTORIC LANDMARK in Milwaukee. WI
These are stories shared with us by our beloved Mama Kim. Every week Kim sends us stories from a variety of publications that are specifically related to the LGBTQ community and are a great way to stay on top of what’s going on in the community.
The Future Method
It’s the solution for clean, confident play for everyone.
Each time you clean out with water or enemas, delicate tissues are harmed and cells are damaged, increasing chances of injury and STDs. The first-of-its-kind, doctor-developed formula that gently cleanses before you play without hurting your bum.
