GayTalk 2.0 – Episode 279 – A Spooky Dish

On the first half of todays show the boys are full energy. We jump into our weekends; Jae makes an amazing meal, Tom is a handy homo and Nick finally opens a show post COVID. Jumping into stories, Tom talks about the first out transgender four-star officer and first female four-star admiral of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. Jae closes out the first half by enlightening the group on the ruling in the Netherlands which would allow the Dutch Princess to marry a women. 

We come back on the second half and cover a Veteran Connecticut LGBTQ+ and HIV Activist, Shawn Lang who suddenly passed away. The boys chat about all she accomplished as a champion for our community, honoring her memory and sending condolences to her family. Tom closes out todays show with a conversation about President Obama endorsing a candidate whos opponent has made negative statements about marriage equality, which was made law of the land in 2015.
