Before the chaos fully took over, the guys took a moment to celebrate Labor Day by giving credit where it is due: labor unions. From paid time off and weekends to workplace safety and having an army behind you before going to HR, the crew broke down the realities of union versus non-union life.
Naturally, the conversation took a sharp turn into retail trauma. The studio was in stitches reliving an explosive holiday grocery run at Adams, where a self-checkout machine and a supervisor over-policing multi-colored bell peppers turned produce shopping into an absolute fiasco.
Fueling the broadcast was a batch of homemade frozen margaritas casually served out of an 8-ounce colonoscopy prep cup, leading into an inspiring tribute to the iconic Gloria Steinem and a discussion on trailblazing women who built blueprints for equality.
To wrap things up, the cast reflected on advice they would give their younger gay selves about love, fear, and chosen family, followed by Mama Kim’s Minute and This Day in Gay History.
