On todays show we welcome Bobbie Ashton. Bobbie is a transgender woman living in Connecticut. Bobbie owned a construction company for 30 years. Since the age of 16, she has served as a volunteer firefighter in her home town and has been a paid employee of the city as a firefighter for the last eight years. She served her community prior to her transition and after in her role as a firefighter to ensure the safety of those in her community. She served in our armed forces as a member in our Navy, the Army Reserve and also in the Air National Guard.
