GayTalk 2.0 – Episode 225 – Santander: New Chapters with Guest David Ellison

On today’s show, the boys show up, ramble on, and relive Trish’s near-death experience.

Returning from break, author David Ellison joins GayTalk once again to discuss the added chapters to, Santander: Rambling on Borrowed Time. Ellison’s Santander is a memoir of his struggle to except himself and sexuality, and the journey of his life. The four discuss the importance of equity and history within school districts’ curriculum, and how to properly promote the teachings of acceptance and defense of those in need. Following the conversation, Chris mentions Illinois school systems’ requiring the education of LGBTQ+ history in the statewide curriculum, and Trish bashes a grocery store. The show ends with Mama Kim’s Minute, GayTalk Term, and On This Day in Gay History, with lots of silliness. Be sure to tune in!

During our conversation we mentioned documents which were developed by Mr. Ellison and others…Here is the link to the documents that highlight their training methods created for the California school districts… Click Here
